Window sills on the façade made of exposed concrete are intended for painting. The old paint coating of dispersion paint has partially peeled off. Water dripping from the horizontal surfaces of the balcony railing left dirty stains. Due to constant moisture, algae and lichen also appeared on the concrete. However, no damage to the concrete itself was found. The reinforcing steel is still in the alkaline zone.

b) The steps involved in applying coatings to concrete are as follows:
1) washing off the old coating with a liquid containing a biologically active substance, removal of lichen using special preparations, thorough cleaning with hot water under high pressure;
2) priming with a substance intended for plaster;
3) pre-painting with dispersion facade paint;
4) surface painting with dispersion facade paint;
5) removal of products from washing the old coating and stains from dirty water.
